No, it’s not exciting, extraordinarily composed, or especially stopping. However, they did well in not running the same wire photo that everyone else ran today.
This photo is quirky, too. First, look at the first lady and first lady-to-be’s dresses. They’re not flattering. Hideous, in fact. There’s no need to wait 10 years to look at old photos and say “what were they wearing?” You can say that now.
Also, notice that Michelle is as tall as Barack Obama. Maybe she should loose the heels; it looks awkward.
